I'm sure regular readers will remember who David Tubb is, and, most probably they'll also remember his Tumblr blog where he posts photos and such from various projects of his. Well, now he has started a new more bloggy blog where he writes about things he's been doing and whatnot. That blog, The Hidden Tower, can be found by clicking that link (you may realise that he uses wonderful Weebly too!). His plan is to update it every Tuesday, so, be sure to check each week to see if there're new entries.

I have recently found myself with a new writer friend and so I would like to draw your attention to their work. Here is a link to her profile on FanFiction.net. Her latest project is a story called My Opposite and is based on the video game The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. It contains a very interesting reinterpretation of the relationship between Link and Girahim, which all starts when Link finds himself having to care for a severely injured Girahim. I shan't give away too many details as I wouldn't like to spoil it. The story is told from the points of view of both Link and Girahim and it is all very emotional, you know everything that they're thinking and what worries them. The style is also very poetic, which sometimes makes it flow very well and also makes it quite nice to read. I was asked to include a quote to hook you all in, so here's quite a nice (utterly context-less) line for you "The moonlight was beautifully blissful and yet blinding at the same time, it made the floating island around me glisten under its seemingly perpetual light." Happy reading :) (I should give a quick warning though, the story is rather an explicit one!)
Have you ever found yourself with nothing to do from 4pm to 6pm on a Tuesday? Well, by golly, I do believe I've found the thing for you: The Rush Hour Show. What is it, you ask? Well, basically it's a radio show which plays a lot of modern music as well as any requests from audience members. But, while the music is nice enough (although, they do play the song Gangnam Style a lot, and I've never really enjoyed that) the main appeal for me, is the conversation between my good friend Ben Wood and his co-host Daniel Young, it's always very entertaining, and even interactive if you use their Facebook page.
Click here for their Facebook page, and here for the place to go when you want to listen. Enjoy! Also, by writing this entry, I realise that it has been a long time since I wrote any silly tongue-in-cheek entries about my friends. If anybody would like one about them, please let me know! I am more than happy to write them :D EDIT: This is now called Monday Night Dinner and aires on Mondays from 6 pm to 8 pm. You may remember an entry called Puzzle that I made a short while ago. Well, now the anonymous person who sends emails with puzzles has his/her own website! Click here, to head over right away and start trying to solve either of the two puzzles that have been posted there. It's quite a unique little site, and I definitely suggest that you at least take a small look. If you like what you see, you can subscribe to be notified whenever a new puzzle is created. While there currently are only two, but it's just getting started! Please do take a look, and have fun!
My friend and fellow Weebly user George Moore is quite the artist. Click here to see his site, where you can find lots of very nice hand painted pictures. The majority of them are natural landscape scenes, and this is the kind of thing I like a lot. My favourite must be either one called Mill Farm or another called River Meadow, but that's not important, go and visit the site for yourself, see all the pretty pictures and decide your own favourite!
The title of this entry might seem a little odd, but it is actually the name of a YouTube page. The person who makes them is an acquaintance of mine from my university, they are in the same class as me for the core module of Creative Writing. These videos are often about books, and other interesting things, so I suggest you at least give them a try. Below is one of the better ones. Enjoy! Do you like puzzles? If so, I'd like to give you this email adress: [email protected] ask them for puzzles and they will send them to you :D often they can be quite tricky, but sometimes it's deceptive, it seems tricky but after a long time of trying to figure it out, you realise it was easy all along! But yes, you should certainly send them a message if you're lookinAlso, I had just better say, I'm not the person who runs this (in case it seemed I was implying that).
Today I'm writing to suggest that you all pay a small visit to this website. It is the site of Oscar Taylor-Kent, a friend of mine, and is, as he says on there, his 'Oscar-hub' which, using its tentacles will push in the direction of some of his work. His work often has quite a sense of humour to it, and you'll find photography work, things linking to video games, music and other interesting things to. I hope you will enjoy looking!
This is just a small update to say that I now have a Facebook page for my blog. My stats show that occasionally over a hundred and people visit this blog on a single day, so it would be nice to see who all of you are! Here is a link to it, so please 'like' the page, thanks in advance for doing so! Also, I'd like to thank you all for reading my entries too, it seems like it has been a while since I have done so, yes, a big thank you to everybody who reads this!
A good friend of mine has recently started writing a new blog called General Mumblings of a Student. So far there are only two entries, but I suggest you start checking it regularly because there are bound to be some very interesting posts in future (based on the high quality of other blogs by the same person). Like the Trusty Water Blog, it doesn't actually have a 'theme' and will just be comprised of whatever pops into the author's head. So take a look, I hope you'll enjoy it!
